About me
I'm a guy with some tools who likes to make stuff with wood in my garage-turned-woodshop. Here are a few examples: built-in shelving, cabinet door, hardwood floor & trim; 15-ft boat; jewelry box; sewing table.
Latest project: I just finished the left railing and trim for a client in Chapel Hill. They wanted a mirror image of the right railing & trim for better security on the stairs.

Why Eno river woodworks?

I have been a weekend remodeler and woodworker since my wife and I bought our first house in 1991. I set up a new Delta Contractor table saw in the basement and started working on house repairs - window frame replacements led to a front porch rebuild for our 1929 bungalow in New England. Since then, my wife and I have remodeled 3 kitchens, a number of bathrooms, and I've built a range of projects from a small jewelry box to a 15-foot boat. Having retired from a 37-year career in manufacturing supply chain management, I'd like to put my now antique Delta, and a few other tools, to work for you.

One man shop
I do the work myself, and if I don't like some aspect, I redo it. You work directly with the guy doing the work. If you don't like something, we will find a solution.
30+ years of (part time) experience
Many lessons have been learned through lots of reading and many projects completed.
Own production - 400 sq. feet
Reasonably well-equipped shop with a range of hand and power tools. I enjoy hand tools but power tools offer speed with precision.
Secret weapon
My wife has an excellent sense of style and color, and can offer ideas and suggestions that can make a good project great.
